Ilana Kaufman is a national leader who helped establish the U.S. conversation and communal field for Jews of Color. She has designed and led some of the American Jewish community’s most effective leadership and organizational development strategies centered on the multiracial Jewish experience, Ilana has consulted with NBA players, public school superintendents, and national organizations navigating the intersections of antisemitism, racial justice, and leadership. Her insights have been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and Code Switch, in her widely viewed Eli Talk “Who Counts? Race and the Jewish Future,” and in outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Forward, and The Foundation Review.
